Do not use phentermine if you have taken an MAO inhibitor such as furazolidone (Furoxone), isocarboxazid (Marplan), phenelzine (Nardil), rasagiline (Azilect), selegiline (Eldepryl, Emsam), or tranylcypromine (Parnate) in the last 14 days. It can be life threatening.

What to expect from our Phentermine treatment?

At your first visit, you will have a full medical history and physical exam with our Nurse Practitioner. A comprehensive blood panel is required at your initial consultation & every 6 months. Medication cannot be dispensed without this current.

What are the side effects of Phentermine?

Phentermine can have side effects including increased heart rate and blood pressure, especially when taking the medication for the first time. Dry mouth, dizziness, irritability, and difficulty sleeping may also occur. Some side effects may not need any medical attention. As your body gets used to the medicine these side effects may disappear. When used correctly, Phentermine  is generally safe and well tolerated.

Taking phentermine together with other diet medications such as fenfluramine (Phen-Fen) or dexfenfluramine (Redux) can cause a rare fatal lung disorder called pulmonary hypertension. Only use Phentermine under the close supervision of a doctor.
